Cedars-Sinai offers a one-year, clinical, interdisciplinary breast oncology fellowship to candidates who have completed a general surgery or obstetrics-gynecology residency and who are board-eligible or board-certified. In our Society of Surgical Oncology-approved fellowship, major emphasis is placed on breast surgical oncology training and multidisciplinary care of patients with breast disease. The trainees will participate in preoperative planning, intraoperative care and multidisciplinary clinical management, and will have the opportunity to participate in ongoing clinical trials. After completion of our program, the candidates will be well-versed in providing care to patients with benign and malignant breast disease and will be well-prepared for an academic career. Interested candidates will be considered for an additional year of breast oncology research.
