Widjaja Inflammatory Bowel Disease Institute IBD Women's Health Conference, a comprehensive Continuing Medical Education (CME) conference focused on the unique challenges faced by women with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Objectives
- Identify risk factors and strategies for prevention of the development of IBD
- Evaluate the impact of dietary choices on the gut microbiome and IBD progression in women
- Integrate dietary recommendations into clinical practice to optimize symptom management and remission maintenance
- Assess the impact of IBD on fertility, pregnancy outcomes, and neonatal health
- Develop personalized management plan for women with IBD before, during, and after pregnancy to ensure optimal maternal and fetal outcomes.
- Recognize the psychological burden of IBD in women, including anxiety, depression and body image concerns
